Created in 2005 by Jeremy Dodson. The name “Oriflamme” reflects a unique blend of art, functionality and ambiance — a gathering point that combines warmth, style and togetherness.
A passion for fire — and a problem to solve.
A passion for fire and the warm gatherings it fosters led to a creative solution when the founder moved into a small condo. Traditional fires, with their smoke and embers, weren't safe in a space that size.
Inspiration struck on spotting an old coffee table. It was reimagined as a gas-fueled fire table — and the vision became real.
Hand-built from the very first flame.
The first Oriflamme prototype was crafted by drilling holes into a metal plate, adding wicks, and setting a jar of oil beneath — inspired by old kerosene lamps.
The initial design took the shape of a yin-yang, reflecting the founder's studies in oriental medicine. Friends and family were immediately taken with it, and that encouragement launched the product.

Determination and innovation drove the company forward, resulting in a table with easily replaceable parts and an elegant, modern aesthetic.
Safety came first — designs built for stability and durability, even in extreme weather. Modular parts made Oriflamme a sustainable choice: swap a burner instead of replacing the table.
